Cabernet Sauvignon is the pinnacle of Napa Valley red wines. The grapes in our Cabernet come from Coombsville, one of Napa’s newest AVAs (American Viticultural Areas). Coombsville is a bit of a new kid on the block, much like Adam and Stacy. This Hersly 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon has a beautiful ruby color with aromatics of dark fruit, tobacco, herbs, and a hint of graphite. As the wine evolves in the glass, flavors of black cherry, currants, blackberries, and toasted oak continue to build on the palate. Elegant and supple tannins give way to a lingering, structured finish. Given proper cellaring, this wine should be enjoyed through 2025.
