Hailed by a master sommelier as “exquisite, a true pinot noir,” this wine has a gorgeous dark ruby color and packs a powerful punch with extreme finesse. This 100% Pinot Noir has beautiful wild strawberry and cherry on the nose and the mid-palate, and a round finish. Coming from the same AVA (Russian River Valley) as our two prior Pinot Noirs, the climate remained beautiful this year with it’s typical coastal fog and moderate temperatures. Perfect Pinot Noir growing weather. There is plenty of acid, but not acidic, earth and tannin structure to keep this wine evolving effortlessly for years to come. The 2014 Pinot Noir was aged for 10 months in 25% new French oak. This is probably our favorite Pinot Noir to date!
